Indonesia is set to strengthen its presence on the global ingredients stage as six members of the Indonesian Seaweed Processors Association (ASTRULI) participate in Food Ingredients Europe (Fi Europe) 2025, one of the world’s leading exhibitions for food ingredients, formulation solutions, and innovation. The event will take place at Paris Expo Porte de Versailles on December 02nd – 04th 2025, bringing together global industry leaders, suppliers, buyers, and innovators. Supported and powered by the Ministry of Marine Affairs and Fisheries (MoMAF), the Indonesian delegation will highlight the country’s advanced seaweed processing capabilities, sustainable raw materials, and diverse ingredient applications derived from Indonesia’s marine resources.
This year’s participation brings together six leading seaweed processors, showcasing a wide range of products including:
- Refined and Semi Refined K-carrageenan powder
- Semi Refined i-carrageenan powder
- Agar powder
- Seaweed powder
- Functional blend solutions for food manufacturers
Fi Europe 2025 offers a strategic platform for Indonesian seaweed processor companies to connect with buyers, explore new markets, and introduce high-quality, traceable, and sustainable ingredients to the international food industry.
Indonesia’s number one of the world largest tropical seaweed resources, and members participation at Fi Europe commitment to promoting innovation, strengthening global supply chains, and expanding market access for Indonesian seaweed processors. The Ministry of Marine Affairs and Fisheries (MoMAF) also emphasized that Indonesia’s seaweed industry continues to contribute significantly to sustainable ocean-based economic development, supporting value-added processing and international partnerships.
